Will

Less than two hundred years ago, the land that is now Will County was covered by prairie. Potawatomi farmed, trapped, and traversed the area, which was at the crossroads of their land trails and river routes. Today, Will County is known for it’s explosive growth and new construction and access to Chicago’s south and west sides. As manufacturing fell away from the County seat, new construction and populations exploded in southern Naperville, Plainfield, Romeoville and Bolingbrook. Today, over 500,000 residents call Will County home with Joliet being the fastest growing city in Illinois.
